Playing the piano is the elixir of life for him: Joseph-Maurice Weder (*1988), the young pianist from Basel, adores classical-romantic music. Following Weder's debut at the age of eleven, the Basler Zeitung dubbed him the "Piano Prodigy". In the meantime, he has grown up and has won some of the most renowned prizes – including, most recently, the prestigious "Swiss Ambassador's Award" from the Swiss Embassy in London in 2013. Since his debut, he has performed regularly in Europe's most famous concert halls. He will inspire the audience at the Seepark with works by Mozart, Schumann and Liszt.
