Art Exhibition: Michael Hastädt

As an artist, my goal is to give space to even the small, everyday things, to make them visible, and to imbue them with a value that is often lost in the fast pace of life. By playing with light and shadow, using soft color gradients, and paying close attention to detail, I create a three-dimensional illusion that lends the images depth and vitality. This vitality—even in sometimes unexpected contexts—is meant to invite the viewer to look more closely and immerse themselves in the works. Exploring the limits of precise observation, along with the use of photographic manipulation techniques, makes the works appear even more realistic.
